Every instrument in the temple orchestra is bidden play its distinctive part, whether percussion, wind or strings. Together we create a loud symphony of praise.

Sam Santiago

Sam Santiago

Our Sound Technician and Lead Musician is from the island of Puerto Rico born in the Church of God. Brother Sam shares some of his history with us, “When a member of the Church in Pitahaya, Puerto Rico we had a band of around 20 some youth. Which by the grace of God I was the director. I want to thank my father, Bishop Luis Santiago, for giving me the first music classes to play the guitar and the opportunity to lead this band while He was the pastor of this church. To my brother Ismael Santiago for giving me the inspiration to play the base guitar and Mr. Jimenez my music teacher for helping me with the arrangements and classes given to the church band.”

Choir in MaconThe Covington Drive Sanctuary Choir is a group of wonderful spirit-filled people who are desperately pursuing the “sound”! What do we mean by this? Glad you asked! There is a “sound” that you hear, when you are in tune with God! There is a “sound” that you hear when you touch God. There is a “sound” when He touches you back! It’s the “sound” of Praise! It’s the “sound” of Victory! It’s the “sound” of “True Worship”! That’s what we are after. We invite you to come and listen for the “sound”.
