At the Covington Drive Church of God of Prophecy, our focus is on the practicalities of the Christian life through our various ministries and our work in the community.
We endeavor to put into practice the same love demonstrated by our Lord while he was here on earth, and aim to empower you with the knowledge of God and what you can achieve through Him.
The various ministries available within our church have been designed to meet this goal. We have a dedicated team of ministers, teachers, pastoral care workers and youth workers who are trained and equipped to offer the support and guidance that is needed to help you in your spiritual development as well as your development as a person in general.

EVANGELISM demonstrates our love for mankind and reflects our desire to see individuals enter a personal relationship with God through the wonderful good news of Jesus Christ. Our Evangelism Department is headed by Minister Marilyn McDowell and consists of Altar Workers, Intercessory and Our Reach Teams.
FOOD PANTRY is one of the many ways we reach out to our community. Directed by Sister Deserene Thompson, through our Pantry we assist 50 – 100 families with groceries weekly, we also assist in providing clothing to those in need in our community. This is just one of many ways in which we expresses our love and our commitment to our community by ministering to the whole person through the delivery of social activities that promote their social and spiritual wellbeing.
STEWARDSHIP expresses our position that everything belongs to God, He owns all things and has given to us the responsibility to use our time, talents, money and all other resources in a way that truly demonstrates our love for both God and humanity. Choir/Music
Music is a significant part of worship. God’s Glorifiers (Our Children’s Choir) and the Sanctuary Choir regularly sings during our 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship service. Rehearsals are held in the Levi H. Thompson Memorial Chapel every Thursday evening at 7:30 pm. New members are always welcome to join our choir. Come lift up your voice in praise!
