“Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.” (James 5:14-15)
At the Covington Drive Church of God of Prophecy, we believe in the awesome power of prayer. Our church meets every Tuesday at 10:00 am for fasting and prayer, Saturday mornings at 9:00 am and on Sunday at 9:00 am. In these sessions of prayer we pray for the sick, our children, the poor in our community, incoming requests, and our national, state and local government.
